Our Impact Work
KL-Impact
KL-Impact is our impact arm dedicated to advancing social, environmental, and infrastructure justice in peripheral communities—often overlooked in development and governance.
Peripheral Communities
Our impact work targets peripheral communities—those in the blind spots of development, including peri-urban areas, small urban centers, and displaced populations—who are at the forefront of urban transformation. We leverage infrastructure as an entry point to address and reduce social and environmental inequalities.
Infrastructure is not just a matter of concrete and steel—it is a reflection of political and social priorities. The question is not just what is built, but for whom and at whose expense." — Deborah Cowen
